BS in Physics, California Institute of Technology, 2013. MS in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience, Univ. of Texas at Dallas, 2014. I am a PhD student in the Lisman, Jadhav and Katz labs studying the mechanisms underlying schizophrenia. Before coming to Brandeis, I worked as a research technician with Dr. Russell Ray at Baylor College of Medicine and with Dr. Robert Greene at UT Southwestern. Outside of lab, I enjoy frivolous pursuits such as Call Of Duty and attempting to empirically find the best ice cream parlor in the greater Boston area. Also my favorite bagel is, and will always be, a cinnamon sugar bagel with honey almond cream cheese.

I joined the Jadhav Lab in 2016 as a Ph.D student. Prior to this, I received my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. There, I worked in the laboratory of Prof. Bo Hong, combining electrophysiology and modeling to characterize elementary spectrotemporal processing in the auditory midbrain. In the Jadhav Lab, I study the interactions between hippocampus and prefrontal cortex during behavior and sleep, seeking to understand their roles in memory formation and learning.
